  • What Image resolution do I need to set my artwork up at?
For small format jobs, such as flyers and business cards we would advise the resolution to be 300dpi minimum. Large format jobs such as posters and roller banners should be 150dpi minimum and for PVC banners we would advise 75 – 150 dpi.
  • Do you print in RGB or CMYK?
We print in CMYK. This refers to the four ink colours used in the printing process: cyan, magenta, yellow and black. It is important to provide artwork in the CMYK colour space to ensure accurate colour reproduction on the final printed product. If you provide artwork in the RGB colour space, it will be automatically converted to CMYK by our printing machinery. This conversion, however, could result in variations in colour and image appearance. By providing your artwork in CMYK, you can ensure that the printed output closely matches your intended design.
  • How big should my files be?
The maximum size we would be able to accept is 200mb in total.
  • What are Trim, Bleeds and Safe Margins?"
The Trim lines help indicate where the product is cut down to the desired size and refers to the end of the paper or finished size of a product. The Bleed is the area to be trimmed and ensures that no unprinted edges occur in the final trimmed document. The Safe Margin is the area between the text and graphics that are not meant to be trimmed.
